Skype update released, fixing DEP crash.

There has been released a new version of Skype for Windows (2.0.0.73, released the 20th of January). You can download it here.
This fixes a bug that caused Skype to crash when DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is enabled in Windows XP.

I have installed the new version of skype and the installation file is hung up. it does not work at XP home. Please how do I go back to previous version?.

I have no problems installing it on Windows XP Home. Have you tried removing it completely (also delete folders and registry keys) and try again?
