Zoep Releases VoIP Engine as Open Soure

This has been on most of the tech sites today but I still don’t know what all the hype is as about. But here it is: Zoep has released their engine as open source. Sure it’s great that you can develop your own voip-enabled applications but wasn’t that possible before?  Well, I think it’s kinda cool that you can embed VOIP in firefox now and the fact that it’s a Dutch company!
