What is the point of an USB softphone?
Take the famous X-lite, rebrand it with Vonage stuff and you’ve got a Vonage softphone. Put it on a USB stick, tell customers that now they can take their softphone everywhere and make it to Gizmodo’s weblog. Why is this so special? Would it be an integrated usb stick and soundcard (to connect your headset to) ,then it might be some news.
However, a portable version of some SIP client isn’t such a bad idea. Anyone has some recommendations of good clients?
