Test your VoIP quality

Want to know if your broadband connection is suitable for internet telephony? You can test the quality of your voip calls at TestYourVoIP.com.
Just go to the site and select one of the eight destinations (most US based and some international locations). Some java applet will run for about 20 seconds and make a test call to that destination. After that, you will receive a report on the quality off the call.

The basic reports are in plain and easy English (varying from ‘Forget the phone, try Pony Express’ till ‘Better than being there!’). The detailed reports are more comprehensive and speak off things as packet loss, codecs and latency.

Good to see that a call from here in The Netherlands to Sydney (about the longest distance possible) still rates almost as good as a decent cell phone call!
