Call SIP phones with GTALK!
Buy VOIP products at VOIP PRO!
August 9th, 2006
GTalk2VoIP is a website that provides a gateway to connect to SIP phones from within Gtalk. It works very easy! Just add service@gtalk2voip.com to your contact list and open a chat window. Than type ‘CALL <SIPADDRESS>” where <SIPADDRESS> is a valid sipaddres like 725756@fwd.pulver.com
Than the gateway sets up a connection to gtalk (phone is ringing) and to the sip device. When both parties answer, the connection is made and you can speak to each other!
Speech quality is pretty good, altough it would be nice if normal SIP is implemented in GTALK as well.
